Unlike many of the discs in this series, this CD does not appear to be based on a mastering of an earlier Rhino disc. The 1986 Rhino disc [r5926532 includes all nine of these songs (with the 3:58 version of "You're A Better Man Than I" and the other eight being the same version as this disc). The 1986 disc is mastered far too loud, and shows significant clipping on most (all?) of its tracks. In contrast, this disc runs about 6 dB quieter than the 1986 on comparable tracks. This disc is mastered with fully intact dynamic range on all its tracks, and shows no clipping at all. The nine tracks here all use different analog transfers than the 1986 disc. (Confirmed in null tests performed by user crapfromthepast, Apr 2021.) Track durations are from CD player, and are not printed on artwork or CD.
